Knox & Scarboro Choirs Invited to Sing in New York!

“We’re going to be a part of it, NEW YORK, NEW YORK!”

It had to happen!  Our rendition of the Requiem for the Living by Dan Forrest at Easter time has come to the attention of the people at Carnegie Hall, New York and we have now been invited to sing with the maestro himself in January 2016.

The Knox and Scarboro choirs and their supporters (ie. you) are invited to New York from January 16 to 20, 2016.  The choirs will be participating in a massed choir of approximately 200 voices with the performance on the evening of January 19 in Carnegie Hall.

The costs in US $ are as follows:

A deposit of $375 CA must be made by June 5 and left with the office.  The costs include:  the performance in Carnegie Hall, round trip airfare from Calgary to New York City (estimated), airport and hotel transfers, 4 nights accommodations at a deluxe midtown Manhattan hotel within easy walking distance of the performance venue, a post-concert reception and all taxes, gratuities and mandatory fees.
