On July 6th we are going to have a fabulous and fun Stampede Sunday service!
We encourage you to dress up in western or vintage prairie clothing!
Our minister, David Crawford, and Knox musicians will be in fine Stampede form.
Our music will echo the gospel, western, campfire singing tradition of days gone by.
Sing your favourite old time hymns
Join in the singing of old favourites: Old Time Religion, I’ll Fly Away, Shall We Gather at the River, I Have Decided to Follow Jesus, Blest be the Tie that Binds, When the Saints Go Marching In.
Special Fiddle Music
We have special FIDDLE music for the prelude and postlude by our own Gwen Gillespie, fiddler and Knox choir member for over 65 years!
Male members of our Knox Choir will sing a bluegrass favourite, “Down to the River to Pray”.
Join with your brethren for some down-home hospitality, community singin’, and neighbourly worship!
Stay for coffee and goodies after the service, as we welcome Rev. David Crawford to Knox for the summer. Yeehaw!
p.s. Don’t forget that church starts at 10:30 for the months of July and August. Come early to catch the fiddle music!
